Please Help us Expand Lopez Center’s Office!

For the past 15 years, we’ve been dreaming of expanding Lopez Center’s office space to meet the needs of the Center staff and community. Anyone who has spent much time in our 132 sq ft office knows that it’s quite ‘cozy’ and cramped. We are looking to create a more functional, multi-person workspace to increase efficiency and comfort.

Our plan is to expand the office by adding an additional 180 sq ft which will create two new work spaces for staff. The current office will be remodeled into a welcoming area to receive community members and guests.

Over the past three years, we’ve created a plan, received permits, gone out for bid, and are in the process of finalizing a contract with JAS Design Build. We have over $165,000 dedicated to the project and are looking for your support to get us over the finish line to start the expansion this fall!

Timing is critical as we need to start the project this year or risk losing over $20,000 in grant funding.
