Imagine the sound of laughter echoing across the pool decks, the pride of children learning to swim, and the invigorating feeling of getting stronger after a water workout. When you support the Lopez Swim Center, you are making all of this possible—and more.

Construction is underway. The time is NOW to help build a Lopez legacy, and if you jump in today, your gift can be doubled: An anonymous family has generously offered a matching gift that could double all gifts made by May 7, up to $150,000.

A year-round, all-ages gathering place for swimmers and nonswimmers alike. A place where neighbors connect, friendships are forged, and community bonds are strengthened in fun and fitness. It will be a place where the young and young at heart come together for Dive-In movie nights, birthday parties, and even ping-pong on the pool deck.

A hub for health and wellness. From joint-mobility exercise in the extra-large warm-water wellness pool to invigorating workouts in the four-lane lap pool, the Center will promote physical and overall well-being for all.

A space for learning water safety—because, on an island surrounded by water, swimming skills are not a luxury, but a necessity. With only 8% of island elementary-school kids able to pass a basic Red Cross Swim test and no publicly available pool, having a place to learn how to swim will be life-changing.
